Camp Nubar is operated by the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU), the world’s largest Armenian non-profit organization. Established in 1906 by Boghos Nubar, AGBU’s mission is to help promote the prosperity and well-being of all Armenians. to uphold the Armenian heritage through educational, cultural and humanitarian programs.

Committed to developing positive identity formation in each new generation, AGBU maintains youth programs throughout the world including summer camps, schools, internship programs, scouts, athletic initiatives and mentorships. Camp Nubar remains the oldest summer camp within the organization welcoming campers and counselors from around the world since 1963.
